Our institution, La Protectora de la Infancia, is a Chilean non-governmental organization founded in 1895. Its mission is to contribute in improving living conditions of children and adolescents in , especially those who live in vulnerable economic and social situations.
As you might know by now, many regions of our country have been devastated by the action of an earthquake, which seriously damaged many of our facilities, including the residential center in Talcahuano , two schools and three family centers for child abuse prevention. This is why we are urged to ask for your help to be able to keep working with the 8,000 children that count on us, and their families. We can not let them down, and with your help, we won’t.
